Datasite Names Matthew Steinhilber General Counsel, Enhancing AI Strategy
Datasite, a global SaaS provider of AI-powered workflow collaboration and automation solutions for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investment, and strategic projects, has announced the appointment of Matthew Steinhilber as its new General Counsel. The move aims to strengthen Datasite’s strategic position within an evolving landscape where technology, legal frameworks, and business strategy are increasingly intertwined.
In this pivotal role, Mr. Steinhilber will oversee Datasite’s global legal affairs. His responsibilities will encompass business operations, litigation, intellectual property, and corporate governance matters. He will report directly to Rusty Wiley, Datasite’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Steinhilber brings over two decades of legal and leadership experience to Datasite. Before joining, he served as General Counsel for Blueflame AI, a provider of AI solutions for financial services companies, which Datasite recently acquired. His career also includes leadership positions at several organizations, notably as General Counsel for ACA Group.
Mr. Steinhilber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Muhlenberg College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
