Insight Partners Leads $43.5M Round in AI Supply Chain Platform Lyric
Sunnyvale, CA – Lyric, an AI-powered supply chain platform, has announced it has secured $43.5 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Insight Partners, with additional participation from Primary Venture Partners, Permanent Capital Ventures, VMG Partners, PSP Growth, and NewBuild Venture Capital.
This new capital follows a period of significant growth for the startup. Since emerging from stealth mode just 18 months ago, Lyric has achieved a 500% increase in revenue and now counts several Fortune 500 companies among its enterprise customers across diverse sectors.
Addressing Supply Chain Complexity
As global supply chains navigate increasing volatility and complexity, traditional tools often fall short in providing the agility and insights needed for rapid decision-making. Industry analysts, including Gartner, have highlighted the limitations of existing analytics tools in supporting fast, insight-driven decisions, often due to technical barriers and data quality concerns.
To address this critical gap, Lyric developed Lyric Studio, a flexible, modular platform designed to empower supply chain professionals with greater control over decision intelligence. The platform seamlessly integrates data, features a comprehensive library of algorithms, and includes an intuitive visual workflow builder. Its core objective is to make sophisticated modeling and planning accessible to a broader range of business users.
Natesh Rao, Supply Chain Leader at Mondelēz International, praised the platform, stating, “We chose Lyric as our next-generation supply chain design platform after thorough assessment. Within a brief period, we are already expanding our capabilities into many unique use cases with the speed and agility to meet our strategic objectives. Lyric’s powerful algorithmic capabilities and talented technical team are exceptional.”
Future Investments and Vision
With the fresh funding, Lyric plans to accelerate its product roadmap and expand its library of reusable supply chain models and logic. The company will also further develop its AI capabilities, particularly in areas such as simulation, experimentation, and automation. Beyond technology, Lyric intends to invest in customer success, onboarding, and community-building as it scales its platform to serve global supply chain teams.
Ganesh Ramakrishna, Co-Founder and CEO of Lyric, described the investment as more than a milestone. “It is a signal,” he said. “Supply chains today are too complex and volatile for static software. Leaders need platforms that adapt to them, not the other way around. We are proud to be building the next generation of supply chain infrastructure.”
Looking ahead, Lyric plans to showcase new features and share its vision for the future at its upcoming annual conference, Empower 2025, scheduled for August 13–14 in Chicago. The event will convene industry leaders to explore the potential of AI-first, modular supply chains.
