The platform is intended for generating ready-to-use websites and focused applications, such as a personal portfolio, a family budget planner, or more ambitious projects. JetBrains states that Kineto seeks to bridge the gap between creative individuals and no-code solutions, fostering an era where personal web applications can be developed with minimal effort. The development process with Kineto begins with users formulating a detailed prompt, describing the desired functionality and appearance of their app. Kineto then processes this input and translates it into the appropriate features. Users are guided to select a basic design template, font, and color scheme to establish a foundational look. Following this, they can review and modify the app’s functionality, user roles, and operational rules. JetBrains claims Kineto can generate a prototype of a fully functional application in approximately 20 minutes. Users can then further customize the prototype by adding features, refining the design, incorporating AI-generated illustrations or their own images, and finally publishing the application.
