Mujin Partners with Integrators to Expand Robotics OS Adoption in North America
Mujin, a leading innovator in intelligent robotics for logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain operations, has announced a significant expansion of its North American presence through a new partner program. This initiative marks a pivotal step in the company’s mission to make advanced automation more widely accessible, empowering experienced automation integrators with its cutting-edge Robotics OS, MujinOS.
The inaugural cohort of partners includes a robust lineup of industry-leading firms. Among the robotics system integrators joining the program are Applied Manufacturing Technologies, Convergix, CRG Automation, Mesh Automation, and RG Group. Complementing these are material handling specialists C&B Material Handling, Conveyco, and Honeywell Intelligrated, all recognized for their extensive experience in deploying large-scale automation solutions.
At the heart of this expansion is MujinOS, an intelligent robot operating system designed to eliminate many traditional barriers to automation. Unlike conventional systems that often demand custom programming, meticulous manual calibration, and rigid designs, MujinOS operates on a “no-code” framework. Its core strength lies in a real-time digital twin that continuously perceives, plans, and controls robotic systems, allowing them to adapt and perform consistently even in complex, high-variability environments. This innovative approach enables robots to autonomously handle tasks like palletizing, depalletizing, bin picking, and mobile robot coordination, significantly reducing deployment times and enhancing operational flexibility.
Ross Diankov, Mujin’s co-founder and CEO, emphasized the transformative potential of this partnership, stating that by providing trusted partners with MujinOS, the company is enabling faster and more widespread adoption of advanced automation in factories and warehouses. Ed Mullen, Mujin’s Vice President of Sales–Product, added that the configurability across applications, hardware, and layouts offered by MujinOS will allow integrators to deploy automation with unprecedented speed, flexibility, and scalability. Partners like Applied Manufacturing Technologies are already anticipating faster deployments and greater flexibility for case-handling solutions, according to Craig Salvalaggio, President and COO.
Mujin’s partner program is comprehensive, providing hands-on training at its dedicated center and direct access to its technical team. This support infrastructure ensures that integrators can confidently implement and scale intelligent automation solutions, addressing diverse challenges such as high-mix production needs and unstructured logistics. The company, which established its North American headquarters in Sandy Springs, Georgia, in 2021, has been a pioneer in intelligent robotics since its founding in Tokyo in 2011. Its proprietary “Machine Intelligence” technology allows industrial robots to think and move autonomously, making real-time decisions without human intervention or extensive programming.
This strategic move comes at a time when the demand for automation is soaring. Recent industry reports indicate that 41% of supply chain organizations have already adopted robotics and automation, with another 42% planning to do so within the next five years. By collaborating with experienced integrators, Mujin is not only advancing its own reach but also contributing to a broader industry shift towards more accessible, flexible, and intelligent robotic solutions that can redefine global supply chain efficiency.
